protonmorelikebroton asked : OK, so I study Anthropology, and if we took a time machine and cracked open a racist Antho textbook circa 1910 you'd see those racial categories. Seriously people omfg can we please. If we're talking the Caucasoid racial category, it was coined by a philosopher who thought that the people from the Caucus region were the most beautiful, and so labeled white people Caucasian (get it? cause POC are unattractive to this old german racist who anon seems to have some respect for).
Racial categories themselves are rejected by Anthropology, however when interacting with laypeople (such as Forensic Anthropologists in a court of law), they’re used rather than cause confusion. Race is a social construct; that’s not to say that it doesn’t have REAL consequences, such as the health repercussions of racism (I mean basically anything ‘racism’ is a consequence of race). It would take a submission to explain in full, but genuinely the scientific integrity of “race” is totally null.
Disneyworld needs to make a rollercoaster based off of the ride Yzma and Kronk take to the lair. When the ride starts, Yzma’s voice yells “pull the lever, Kronk!” and the ride starts to move backwards so she yells “wrong lever!” and it shoots you forward.
